Does an attorney have the power to supena someone to testify?
I was just mailed a supena, signed by an attorney requesting me to testify at a divorce trial. Am I in contempt if I do not show? I received this supena via regular mail, not certified. I had called and spoke with the receptionist requesting an order from the bench. The attorney has not returned my call. What do I do?

A lawyer doesn't have the power to supena you any more than he has the power to give you a jail sentence. A supena has to be issued by a judge.
I would seek legal counsel because things could get hairy.
Hope this helps!
