What is the reasonable fees a lawyer charge per court session ?

My lawyer is charging me 2000 US Dollars per her court session , is she charging me high or reasonable enough ? Ohh yes the case is just a misdemeanor so i dont need to attend the court hearing .

1. Sounds high but I don't know what the charges in your area are in general or if she is a highly sought after attorney. Do some comparative shopping.
2. it depends. my lawyer charges what is about $1000, so i think 2000 is a little high, but then again, that may be a competative rate where you are. ask around other law firms, and see what they would charge you.
3. It depends on the degree of difficulty of the case and what tasks will be involved.The only answer is call and shop around.
4. Call your local bar association and ask them the prevailing rates in the area--low and high. They can probably give you the best information in the shortest amount of time.
